You may not know the face and the name Robbie Stuart won’t mean much to most Bristolians either but Bristol Rugby fans certainly enjoy the antics of his alter ego, Brizzley Bear. Until recently, Robbie was the person inside the Brizzley Bear costume who kept the Bristol Rugby fans entertained at half-time with a series of energetic dance routines and general larking around.

Robbie is also a keen rugby player and has enjoyed playing for Old Bristolians on a regular basis. However, Robbie’s appearances at both clubs have been put on hold in recent months as Robbie has been undergoing treatment for leukemia.
